- Supporting clients in their decarbonisation journey by reducing business and climate-related risks across their value chains
- Guiding clients through quantitative and technical solutions like climate scenario analyses for TCFD, Swiss Climate Ordinance, CSRD, and EU Taxonomy, enabling them to assess financial impacts, evaluate and formulate net zero transition plans, and integrate sustainability and climate into overall business strategies
- Working together with colleagues to build quantitative climate and nature risk and technical decarbonization modelling capabilities, and expand offerings in nature and biodiversity
- Conducting technical research on a broad range of environmental and sustainability topics including, climate risks, climate change adaptation and mitigation, responsible investing, environmental remediation, sustainable construction, resource-use efficiency, among others
- Increasing quality and transparency by providing assurance on other related engagements in the sustainability field
- Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to clearly convey technical concepts and translate complex models into actionable business decisions
- You have a masters in climate or atmospheric sciences, environmental sciences, natural hazard modelling, ecology, energy management, engineering, economic modelling, or other related field
- You possess programming and data visualization skills (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, etc.) and you are familiar with climate scenario analysis, risk analysis, decarbonization modelling, GHG accounting, or financial modelling
- You have an interest in sustainable development (particularly either in climate and nature risks, decarbonisation, or GHG accounting), and a passion to drive and improve business sustainability performance
- You are familiar with key sutainability regulations (e.g., Swiss Climate Ordinance, TCFD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy) and can support with the technical and scientific aspects of the disclosure requirements
- You have the ability to clearly communicate complex topics and are fluent in English. Fluency in either German (for the Zurich office) or French (for the Geneva office) would be an advantage.
- Candidates available for a 3 to 6-month internship, with the possibility of extension or transition into a full-time role
