Job Description

Join a paid summer internship where you will work on nature-positive finance and innovation in a fast-evolving ecosystem. Through the InTent Internship Programme (#IIP), you will support investor research, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement that help early-stage environmental solutions move closer to scale.
 

About the hosting organisation

Innovate 4 Nature is a Switzerland-based non-profit foundation working to accelerate the transition to a nature-positive and regenerative economy. It connects start-ups, corporates, investors, and foundations to help early-stage environmental innovations overcome funding, partnership, and market-access barriers. Its goal is to make nature restoration and biodiversity-positive solutions more viable, investable, and scalable.
 

The Position

As the Nature-Positive Investment & Innovation Analyst you will focus on strengthening the investor pipeline for the I4N Metastable Impact Fund and sharpening insight into nature-positive innovation ecosystems. The role combines investor research, CRM management, market analysis, stakeholder mapping, and support for investor-facing materials. This is a strong opportunity for a student who wants exposure to both impact investing and the broader ecosystem around nature-positive solutions.
 

What You Will Work On

  • Research potential limited partners, including corporates, foundations, impact investors, family offices, and institutional actors
  • Map and segment investor prospects based on thesis fit, catalytic capital potential, ticket size, and sector alignment
  • Maintain and update  I4N’s  CRM covering investors, innovation actors, strategic priorities, and next steps
  • Analyse the impact-investing landscape, comparable funds, and relevant innovation ecosystems
  • Support the preparation of investor-facing materials, including briefing notes, pitch decks, and presentations
  • Conduct landscape analysis of nature-positive innovations and key stakeholders across value chains and urban systems
  • Assist with tailored outreach campaigns, calls for solutions, workshops, and multi-stakeholder engagement 
  • Contribute to solution evaluation, pilot concepts, and early-stage roadmaps

Requirements

What You Bring

You are a Master’s student with a background in finance, economics, sustainability, or public policy. You are comfortable researching and synthesising information, writing clearly for external audiences, and managing details across multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.

Who You Are

  • Strong analytical and research skills 
  • Able to interpret and summarise financial and impact-related information clearly 
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills for investor and innovation audiences 
  • Organised and reliable in managing pipelines and stakeholder workflows 
  • Proactive and comfortable working independently 
  • Swiss or EU Passport holder, valid work permit, or the right to work in Switzerland. ​

Additional Information

  • This is a paid internship offered through the InTent Internship Programme (#IIP) 
  • The internship is expected to start between 15 June and 15 July 2026 and will run for 3 months 
  • Selected interns may also become part of the broader programme journey, including the virtual kick-off on 16 July 2026 and the SEED Impact Summit on 24 September 2026
